Bruce Bellom # 15 retired

Very sad news our friend, Divisional Safety Steward, and fellow competitor has lost his fight from Covid-19. For those that did not know Bruce, he held many PSCC club officer positions: Activities Committee, Event Chair, Timing and Scoring Chief, Vice-President, Safety Steward, and gave many awards speeches at the end of our driving events and also at our PANIC awards banquet.

Later on to be Divisional Safety Steward, Evolution instructor teaching all over the US and Canada. I also learned he was also member of Team HUOA along with Pat Salerno, Art Emerson, Ken Porteous, Ron Bistrais, Rob Foley, and a president (can someone help out for a name?) that drove the Mustang SVL from Westchester County.

Arrangements are Saturday from 2-8pm at Nardone’s Funeral Home. 414 Washington St, Peekskill, NY 10566. Donations can be made in Bruce’s name to Peekskill Rotary Foundation| Rotary Club of Peekskill

As far as PSCC Solo events go we will retire # 15.

Resources Covid-19

As shelter-in-place restrictions begin to be lifted, we must all decide how and when to run events. We’ve compiled three resources you can access today to assist:

Please share and repost these resources. The intent is to support the entire industry as we start to head back on the road and track.

Lastly, I’m thrilled to report we’ve made tremendous ground with insurance company approvals for our e-waiver product, SpeedWaiver, in the past 60 days. We are working feverishly to launch in the next 30 days to eliminate paper waivers and support physical distancing at your events.

Stay tuned and stay safe out there,

Brian
